Flightwise is working on a standard set of Stair layouts to be displayed as a PDF file on this website. Although we already manufacture staircases to order in almost any design, size and specification, these standard sets of design layouts will help you the customer to plan and visualise your staircase. The standard layouts will include critical dimensions relevant to the individual designs as well as the trimmer dimensions necessary to obtain the headroom clearance. All of the standard designs will conform to building regulations.

Flightwise joins the BWF

Flightwise Joinery is delighted to report that we have now become an accredited member of the British Woodworking Federation.

The BWF is the trade association for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. Its stair scheme is the only accreditation and certification scheme of its kind in the UK, ranging from domestic, common and fire protected common staircases. The standard expected of the manufacturers for their stairs is extremely high to ensure quality and safety. All companies within the scheme are regularly audited to ensure their products and their production meet the high standards expected of them.

New recycling facilities introduced to Flightwise Joinery

We at Flightwise take our responsibility towards the environment very seriously and as part of our push to becoming even greener, we have just signed up with Biffa, an energy-from-waste-focused integrated waste management company.
